Submissions for 2024-2025 
CMMS PTSA is participating in the National PTA Reflections Art Contest this year! Participation is free for students to enter and is a great way to encourage and celebrate the artistic gifts and talents of our students.

​There are six categories that students can enter: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts.  All entries must be original creations and must relate to this year’s theme, "ACCEPTING IMPERFECTION "

​Students may enter as many pieces as they would like in one or all art categories.  Students will need to submit a Student Participation Form for EVERY piece they submit for judging.  Please make sure to read and follow the General Participation Rules, the Art Specific Rules and Naming conventions.

BASIC RULES FOR EACH CATEOGRY

Dance Choreography: 

• 5 minutes or less; 
• 1,000 MB (1,000 megabyte) in file size 
• MP4 or AVI format

Film Production: 

• 5 minutes or less; 
• 1,000 MB (1,000 megabyte) in file size 
• MP3 or AVI format

Literature: 

• 2,000 words or less, handwritten or typed; 
• Accepted formats: Single-sided print on 8 1⁄2x11” paper PDF file; handwritten or typed.
• cannot exceed 3 MB.

Music Composition: 

• 5 minutes or less; 
• 1,000 MB or less; MP3 or WAV
• PDF format for Notation (score/tablature) in PDF format is only required for middle and high
  school divisions.

Photography: 

• 3x5 - 8 x 10 inches; 
• Mounted on mat or poster board no larger than 11x14 inches. Framed prints are not accepted.
• 640 x 960 pixels and 300 DPI resolution; 
• JPEG, JPG, and PNG accepted.

Visual Arts: 

• submission. 3D
  artwork submissions must contain 3 digital images of artwork at different angles.
• 2D artworks must be mounted on sturdy material and no larger than 24x30 inches with
  matting. - create digital image of piece; 
• 3D must have 3 images - JPEG, JPG, or PNG; 
• Files cannot exceed 3 MB in size.
