Welcome to this year's Trojan Olympiad sponsored by the Carnage PTSA! This is a celebration of our Carnage students' minds and their creativity. There are eight competitions starting in January and ending in May: School Spirit Art, Essay and Poetry, Art and Photography, Music Composition, Dance, Singing, Science and Math. Sign up for 1 or many competitions!
We are looking looking for Olympiads as well as volunteers! Students may choose which competitions they would like to compete in versus volunteer for. There are limited volunteer positions and will have sign-ups available. Duties are included in the sign-up form.

Entries for School Spirit, Essay & Poetry and Art must be submitted during the competition dates on this site. A method for submitting will be available only during those dates. Winners will be announced 2-3 weeks after the competition closes. Students may submit multiple entries.

Theme: Adorning the Carnage Walls with School Spirit
Competition Dates: Jan 9th - January 23rd This competition focuses on Trojan Spirit art that can be hung on the walls or from the ceiling of Carnage. This can be a picture, painting, paper art, etc that can be turned into a poster. It can be a sewn banner. But it should be something that captures our Trojan Spirit and can be displayed at school. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners & runner-ups will have their original art displayed at school. Theme: The New Norm after "the Pandemic"

Students are welcome to submit multiple entries. Winners in the Visual Arts and Photography categories will submit their work to the Carnage Silent Auction to help raise funds for school. Music Composition, Dance, and Singing |
NEW Competitions: Submission Dates online. March 28th - April 11th
This year we are introducing two new competitions: Dance and Singing! We also have our Music Composition Competition as well! All dance and signing must be turned in via a video online. Additionally the music composition can be submitted electronically as well via the website. It must be a recording or video of the recording. We will rotate this competition with Math every year. This year we are hosting the Math competition instead of Science Competition. More details to follow but the competition will be held in April or May on a Saturday. |
Math |
Competition Date: (Tentatively) May 13th
There are 6 sections within this competition: Math 6+, Math 7+, CCM1, CCM2, CCM3 and Precalculus. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each section. Students must register for the math level they are currently in. The goal of this competition is to help prepare the student for the EOG/EOC. More details to come... |
